 | Miroslav Ponec | | Before coming to Polytechnic for doctoral studies, I lived in my
home town of Prague. Here in New York I am continuing my education
in computer science, but with a new focus on security. Specifically
I have been working on the Fornet project, developing
several new synopsis algorithms for network
payload attribution. I have also done some work on analyzing the
weakness of CAPTCHAs. My earlier focus was on software
engineering, so I try to look at projects from a high-level perspective
before diving into the code. For relaxation and health I like to
visit the Poly gym whenever I can.
