I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer and Information
Science here at Poly. I work in the areas of computer and network security, and
applied cryptography. I recently (in August 2006) obtained my Ph.D
in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine. I hold an M.S. in Computer
Science from UC Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and
Computing from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.

In my free time (which I hardly get these days!), I like to do
various things, including playing sports such as tennis (in fact, I have been
looking for a partner to play with since I moved to New York), badminton,
volleyball, racquetball; playing djembe; listening to music (and sometimes
singing too). I love to travel and I hate to work out.
