I am a PhD student in the CIS Department at Polytechnic University. Originally I am from Romania where, before coming to Poly in fall 2005, I completed my bachelor's degree at University of Bucharest majoring in Computer Science. My research interest is in the area of security and digital forensics. At Poly, I have been working on the Fornet project to develop new techniques for network payload attribution. In my spare time I enjoy going fishing and playing basketball, soccer and tennis.
