I am currently a Research Fellow in the Cryptography and Security Department of Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R).

In 2006, I obtained my PhD from the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). I obtained my B. Eng. (Computer Engineering), which was a joint program by Department of Computer Science and Department of Electrical Engineering, NUS.

From February 2006 to December 2007, I was a post-doc research fellow in the Department of Computer and Information Science, Polytechnic University, with Professor Nasir Memon. I was a Teaching Assistant in Department of Computer Science from July 2001 to January 2003, an Associate Scientist in Temasek Labs, NUS, from January 2003 to January 2005, a Research Assistant in Department of Computer Engineering, Chinese University of Hong Kong, from August to December 2005.

My research interests include cryptography, multimedia security, network security, and algorithms.
